WagArb warmly re-welcomes Ann-Sophie Mante! From September 2017 up until now, she supported our team as research assistant and from this week on joins us in her new capacity as trainee advocate.
Anso is originally from Hamburg and studied law at the University of Heidelberg as well as at the Université de Strasbourg. Prior to commencing her legal traineeship last year, she acquired her LL.M. in dispute resolution, including arbitration, at the University of Cape Town.
After her traineeship with us, Anso will return to Sub-Saharan Africa to mainly assist in coordinating and managing policy design projects with the German Organization for International Development Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit – GIZ) in Lilongwe, Malawi.
Anso takes a special interest in design thinking as approach to create innovative, holistic and human-centered solutions of problems and conflicts. Her goal is to make this approach viable in the field of policy making and optimizing legal processes and tools.
Anso speaks English, French and German and will support us in our dispute resolution as well as our corporate practice.
