More about Raphael Fellmer
Raphael Fellmer is a passionate social entrepreneur, author and keynote speaker who has been tackling food waste since 2009 and aims to make foodsaving mainstream.
In order to create awareness for food waste, he went on a “money strike” for five years and used dumpster diving as a way of living sustainably and reducing one’s carbon footprint.
Raphael is co-founder of foodsharing.de, a movement of over 50,000 registered foodsavers saving surplus food from private households and small businesses across Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
In 2017, he went on to co-found SIRPLUS, a Berlin based social impact startup committed to avoiding food waste by saving surplus food from producers and wholesalers and selling it directly to end consumers in its own supermarkets and online.
