Warmly welcoming our newest intern to the WagArb team! – Anne Philippczyk joins us from mid-July on. She is currently pursuing a double degree in English and German law at King’s College London as well as the Humboldt University of Berlin within the frames of the European Law School.
Next to her studies, she has done internships with the litigation and arbitration practice groups of two large German law firms. She has previously worked for a notary and is currently a student assistant at the Research Institute for Legal Practice of the Humboldt University of Berlin. Anne was also part of this year’s successful HU Vis Moot team, which made it to the round of 8 at the Vis East Moot Hong Kong and the round of 16 at the Vis Moot Vienna. Anne received an honorable mention for best oral advocate in the process.
Her attempts to win the Joseph Schwartz Award for Academic Excellence and Party Condition were unfortunately not crowned by success – despite best efforts. In her spare time, Anne spends a lot of time on roads and trails around Berlin, marathon training and doing handstands wherever she can. We are happy to have her on board and look forward to working with her!
