“Eat well, travel often.” – The 2023 #LunchBowl Series

As the year comes to an end, we look back on a total of nine #arbitrattoria lunch bowls in 2023 with exceptional dispute resolution practitioners from or in various parts of the world.

In the attempt of bringing “more internationality to German arbitration” as this year’s overarching topic, our guests were foreign qualified lawyers practicing in Germany or either German qualified lawyers practicing abroad or orginally coming from another jurisdiction.

Most importantly, we wish to once again express our heartfelt gratitude to the outstanding colleagues who have contributed to our 2023 lunch bowl series with the following topics:

Eliseo Castineira on #Climate Change Disputes

Olga Hamama and Polina Lehmann on the Role of the Legal Community in Advancing #Peace

Johannes Landbrecht on #Publication of Arbitral Awards

Professor Peter Christian Sester on #Contract Law in Arbitration

Anne K. Hoffmann on Iura #Novit Arbiter

Amy C. Klaesener on #Ethics in Arbitration

Laura Reichen on Tribunal #Secretaries

Hussam Mujally on #Diversity in Arbitration

Mark Baldock and Sebastian Kokelaar on Arbitration in the UK post #Brexit

Another big thank you goes out to all those who joined us as participants for the lunch bowls throughout the year and have contributed to their success with their presence and interaction. We are most grateful for your interest and support!

The lunch bowl series will continue next year with a new overarching annual topic. If you wish to leave us any comments or have certain topics you may want to suggest, please let us know in the comments below or send us a message at . We will announce the next annual topic early next year.
