Chakalaka
Recipe by Nthabeleng Mafisa
This is one of my favorite dishes and a household name in Lesotho and other Southern African homes. It is often served with grilled meat and ‘papa’ (a mixture of solidified maize meal and water), bread or rice. The ingredients may vary from family to family. It’s all about personal preferences. This is how I love mine, a little spicy but not too hot.
