Vero Zadworna, a friend of the firm and the architect who assisted with the interior design of our office, presented some of her paintings in a vernissage, hosted in our office last week. The exhibition is entitled “Räume” (which is German both for “rooms” and “spaces”), the overarching topic of Vero’s art.
We work and live in rooms and spaces, they open up new perspectives whilst being a reflection of our inner workings and creativity. Emotional spaces appear next to physical ones. In this sense, Vero’s work and her paintings go hand in hand with our approach and target at WagArb of creating new spaces, perspectives and models of thought in dispute resolution. New tools and techniques are available that allow for an efficient and rewarding resolution of business and other disputes. Individual and alternative meeting environments can foster empathy and mindfulness and thereby facilitate open discussions and friendly negotiations.
Needless to say, and as Vero is from Gdansk and Polish by origin, the exhibition was accompanied by a magnificent Polish buffet with pierogi and vodka and many other specialties, including cornichons made by no one less than Lukas Podolski’s uncle.
