WAGNER Arbitration would like to wish a warm welcome to its new trainee advocate: Niklas Luft joins our firm, starting this week.
Niklas, who originally comes from Wiesbaden, studied law at the University of Heidelberg with a specialization in public international law. He also spent a year abroad studying at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre in Rome, Italy. Before his legal traineeship as well as during its initial stage, he worked in the dispute resolution practice group of a major international law firm in Frankfurt and Berlin. Throughout this time, he gained experience in the areas of litigation, arbitration and in the field of sports law.
Niklas has a yearlong experience as football referee and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Potsdam on a sports law related topic. After his time at WAGNER Arbitration, he will continue his legal traineeship in the legal department of a renowned Bundesliga football club.
When not following his passion for sports, you may catch him riding his vintage Vespa through the streets of Berlin.
Niklas speaks English, German and Italian.
