Celebrating 75 Years of the EU – What It Means for Us at Wagner Arbitration
This week offers perspective. Yesterday, Berlin observed a public holiday marking 80 years since the end of World War II. Today, we look back at 75 years of the European Union – a political and legal framework that has shaped how we live, work, and resolve disputes across borders.
At #WagArb, the EU plays a concrete role in our daily work. It has built a common legal space that enables cross-border cooperation, legal predictability, and peaceful dispute resolution – especially through arbitration.
We work in multiple languages and jurisdictions, with strong ties across EU member states and future candidates. This legal infrastructure is what allows us to serve international clients efficiently and with confidence.
We don’t always agree with every decision coming out of Brussels or Luxembourg – but the bigger picture matters.
Here’s to 75 years of unity through law – and to many more.
