This expression by Georg F. W. Hegel translates into „the truth is all of it“ or “ the truth is the whole“.
๐ก What a motto under which to celebrate our 10 year office anniversary at Hegelplatz, and with that all the people who have worked with us since then – with a special shout out to Katharina Meyer and Petrit Elshani, who joined the firm 10 years ago and have stayed ever since. A picture wall was revealed showing the portraits of all former and current team members during the past decade, reaching nearly 120 faces.
๐งโโ๏ธ This went hand in hand with pictures on display from the coachings with and by the one and only John Faulk, who has trained every single one of these amazing individuals and who has grown into a guiding figure for the firm. Not to mention all the photos he has taken at events and other occasions, a veritable law firm biography in pictures.
๐ฝ๏ธ Our new start at Hegelplatz in 2016 also marked the beginning of what was later branded by Joseph Schwartz as the HashtagArbitrattoria – our Friday lunches, home-cooked by one of us for the others and served in the firm’s kitchen. Our first kitchen table, a foldable beergarden table, was transformed into a special greeting „card“ and signed by everyone together with a „bon appรฉtit“ or something of the like in everybody’s own language and alphabet.
๐ Next to this special „monument“ of culinary inter-cultural exchange at WagArb stood something that we had all been waiting for for such a long time:

After nearly a year and an incredible amount of work and devotion by every single cook, but particularly by the editor-duo Zeineb Aoun and Philipp K. Wagner, we finally held this new colorfoul collection of recipes in our hands and celebrated the official unofficial release of what we cleary consider as the year’s most relevant publication in international arbitration, and what John Faulk calls „a recipe for peace“.
โ The official book release for the arbitration community is yet to follow – as part of the Berlin Dispute Resolution Days.
๐ Our gratitude goes out to all who have served at the kitchen table and filled our rooms with life over the past decade, to all who came to celebrate with us, to all who contributed to Volume II, to Henryk Berlet for yet again a fabulous cookbook design & layout, to those not on LinkedIn – our interiror designer Weronika Zadworna and our house caterer Aurelio Zarain – and to, once more, John Faulk, for yet anoother round of beautiful photos of a lovely evening with lovely people.
