WagArb warmly welcomes its first trainee advocate ’23 – Marie Carnap!

Marie grew up in Berlin and studied law at the Universities of Potsdam and Valladolid with a specialization in public international law. She holds an LL.M. degree in Law and Globalisation, International Trade and Investment Law from the University of Maastricht and is currently completing her legal traineeship aka Referendariat at the Kammergericht Berlin.

We look very much forward to working with her and have so many questions…

What was your first job?

Teaching kids how to play field hockey.

Breakfast or dinner?

Dinner.

What do you cook when you spontaneously have friends over for dinner?

Pasta with creamy sauce, lots of vegetables and parmesan.

Mountains or Seaside?

Seaside.

If you could meet someone famous, dead or alive, who would it be?

Bill Kaulitz.

Which was your favorite place to live so far?

Guadalajara, Mexico.

Favorite time of day?

5 p.m., because the evening is still young, but has already started.

Window seat.

Australia.

Make yourself happy with the little things in life.

Bread crumbs on the counter.
