Marie grew up in Berlin and studied law at the Universities of Potsdam and Valladolid with a specialization in public international law. She holds an LL.M. degree in Law and Globalisation, International Trade and Investment Law from the University of Maastricht and is currently completing her legal traineeship aka Referendariat at the Kammergericht Berlin.

Teaching kids how to play field hockey.
