Already during his school years, Philipp lived in France for five years and was an exchange student in the USA, an experience that broadened his horizons and instilled in him a strong appreciation for cultural exchange and international understanding. Licensed to practice law in both New York and Berlin, he combines this international knowledge to effectively serve his clients’ needs.
Philipp’s passion for law extends beyond his practice. He shares his knowledge and experience with the next generation of legal professionals through teaching engagements at prestigious institutions. He serves as a faculty member at Humboldt University Berlin where he co-founded the International Dispute Resolution LL.M. Program, and has developed on online international ADR course for the University of Arizona.
His passion for the law is also reflected in his scholarly pursuits. He has authored numerous articles on various legal topics and co-authored law commentaries, mostly in the field of international arbitration and international commercial law.
Philipp has always taken a keen interest in the development of young talents, be it at the work bench or around a glass of wine (or two). In this spirit, he remains a strong supporter of the Youth For Understanding program, which played a significant role in shaping his understanding of cultural exchange and international relations. Having been an exchange student in the USA during his high school years, he appreciates the program’s transformative impact on young individuals and continues to advocate for its mission.
