Ivette Félix Padilla joins us as an intern. She grew up in Mexico City and in Berlin and is studying Law at the Free University of Berlin with a specialization in international and European law. In addition to her studies, she is Editor-in-chief of the Berlin Law Journal (Berliner Rechtszeitschrift) and a Board Member of the Summer Academy on Feminist Legal Studies (Sommerakademie Feministische Rechtswissenschaft).

What was your first job?
Acting in commercials! I was cast on the street when I was four years old, and I begged my parents to let me do it. It was for a doll, and the shooting was so much fun!
Breakfast or dinner?
Dinner all the way! I usually do not eat breakfast because I eat lunch quite early.
What do you cook when you spontaneously have friends over for dinner?
I am not much of a cook, but whenever I have friends over, they all love my vodka pasta.
Mountains or Seaside?
Seaside.
If you could meet someone famous, dead or alive, who would it be?
Sally Rooney. I am obsessed with all of her books and their adaptations.
Which was your favorite place to live so far?
London. I did part of my studies there and it was amazing. I loved going to lots of concerts, great vintage shops, and museums!
Favorite time of day?
Noon.

Window seat.
Country you wish to visit?
South Africa.
