Various follow-up correspondence, calls, a legal opinion on statutes of professional conduct and multiple certified translations of Kosovo laws and statutes later, we are happy to share that as of last week, lawyers admitted in Kosovo are finally part of the annex to § 206 BRAO. They can now become members of German bar associations and carry their professional title Avokat in Germany pursuant to a governmental decree issued by the Federal Ministry of Justice on 7 August 2023.
