It is with a heavy heart that we say farewell to Sophie Eichhorn, who will join the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom as deputy press spokesperson very soon.
🎠While we congratulate her warmly on this fabulous new career opportunity and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for having acquired such an outstanding talent, we are very sorry to see Sophie go.
Not only was she a valued member of our commercial and investment dispute equipe, but she also greatly contributed to the law firm’s culture and heartbeat. Her passion in making the #WagArbGames 🎳 happen on our 10-year anniversary celebration will be unforgotten, as will be her contributions to the #arbitrattoria and the 2023 Cook of the Year ceremony, which she lifted to the next level.
💪 Sophie had joined us initially as a trainee lawyer during the pandemic and returned after having passed the Berlin bar to start a full-time position as legal practitioner. She became part of the core team in no-time and helped us greatly in continuing to build what is known as WAGNER Arbitration. Sophie advised on and represented clients in a great deal of disputes and transactions in various industries domestically and internationally, conducted countless interviews with applicants in various languages, and sparked the Italian touch of the firm with her connection to Italy and her activities in and with the Italian arbitration community.
❤️ One thing is for sure: the world becomes a better place wherever Sophie is involved. We truly believe that her new position will allow her to excel even further.
Earlier this week, we joined for a farewell party with special treats for Sophie, including an Honorary Cook of the Year Award 🥇 for 2023.
You will be dearly missed, Sophie. We wish you all the very best!
