Carl joins us as an intern. He grew up in Cologne and studies law at Freie Universität Berlin. He spent an exchange year at the University of Limerick in Ireland, focusing on common law and European Union law. Earlier this summer, Carl interned at the German Embassy in Dublin.

What was your first job?

I worked as a bicycle delivery rider for a pharmacy.

 

Breakfast or dinner?

Lunch.

 

What do you cook when you spontaneously have friends over for dinner?

Tiramisu.

 

Mountains or Seaside?

Mountains, nothing beats skiing.

 

If you could meet someone famous, dead or alive, who would it be?

Jürgen Klopp.

 

Which was your favorite place to live so far?

London.

 

Digital or analogue?

Digital. However, I do like to read a printed newspaper.

Noon.

Window seat.

 

Country you wish to visit?

South Africa.

As I spent the last 12 months in Ireland, it has to be The Cranberries.

Diverse, charming, fun.

 

Night owl or early bird?

Night owl, it is much easier staying awake than getting out of bed.

Pizza Pazzesca at Il Casolare in Kreuzberg with Salsiccia and Mascarpone is marvelous.
